Baby's Fave

A dingo ate my baby

This project wasn’t that extensive, but it sure was hilariously fun. That’s why I’m putting it in my portfolio. It’s all for the value of a fun day at work, and that was this.

I've been looking at your baby.

The best part about this project is that we got the go ahead to do some photoshoots. Everybody in the company who had a baby brought him or her in to participate in a little baby fashion show. The baby that ended up being selected was the child of one of our account managers. She was really excited about it, what mother wouldn’t be, until I started to stop her in the hallway, creepily stare into her eyes and say “I’ve been staring at your baby for hours today.” Soon after, an opportunity arose and she moved her family to Texas. I know it wasn’t me, but sometimes I like to pretend.

The only thing to really note of this project was the fact that I had to do a lot of retouching. Who knew babies had blotchy skin and runny noses? And FYI, those aren’t his real eyes. I’ve done things to them. Horrible things. Things I dare not mention.
This is the sort of standard project I’m used to doing on a daily basis. Dig out last year's contest from the archives, refresh it, and set it up for the new/adjusted size. In 2015, fun clouds were added in the background so that the baby now floats. And I thoroughly enjoy that. Little cloud babies.
